Deadlock FREE

One of my books, Deadlock, will be free on Amazon from Dec. 14 to Dec. 18.  This is part of a new program Amazon is offering in which Deadlock will be exclusive to them for the next 90 days. So if you're interested in the book and have a Nook, or something else, you'll have to wait. Judging from the sales of Deadlock on non Kindles...there aren't many of you out there! I'm hoping this will help sales for the other books and give me a little jump. Please tell all your Kindle owning friends!

Deadlock thoughts

Just wanted to throw some thoughts out there on the book. I really like the cover, I liked the alternate cover as well and will post it later just so everyone can see what it looked it. I said it in the newsletter, but I'll say it here for those who don't subscribe, that I think this is my best work yet. From start to finish, I think this is my best writing, and most complete book yet. Hopefully even those of you who aren't fans of Westerns will give the book a shot, never know, you may like it! This will probably be my last Western book for at least a year or two. I'll probably release a few short stories in that time but the next few releases will be other genres.

Deadlock Charity

The official announcement is in...the charity that will be supported by Deadlock will be The World Wildlife Fund. It was a tough decision and there were many worthy organizations that I was considering, but I just thought that the WWF was the best fit at this time. If you have any ideas for a charitable organization for one of my future books, feel free to post, or e-mail me.

Deadlock

I mentioned the other day that Deadlock probably wouldn't be released till early next year. Well there are some discussions right now about possibly releasing it as just an e-book, or releasing the e-book within the next couple months, and the paperback early next year. I'd be interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on it if you'd care to e-mail me.

Back

First, I'd like to apologize for being away for so long. It wasn't a planned event. I can't believe I haven't posted anything in 7 months. I've gotten a lot of e-mail wondering what I've been up to, and what's going on with the books. Most of my time has been spent with my family. I have a 3 yr old daughter and now an 11 month old son who require a lot of attention, so I haven't done a whole lot on-line or even writing. Deadlock, which was supposed to be released during the summer, has been delayed. It's most likely going to be released during the early part of 2010. I will be on-line more often going forward so keep reading and sending me e-mail.

Deadlock

Well, I've finished Deadlock and it's now in the hands of an editor. It will most likely come out towards the middle of next year....I'm thinking probably June/July in that area. I've started on the other projects I've been talking about and hope to start the writing in the next week or so. So far I've been working on different ideas and getting backgrounds on the stories.
